Category Buyer for Fruits & Flavours - Corporate (M/F) 6 months internship - Laval (53) Groupe Lactalis

This position will allow you to improve your expertise on buying and category management, in a global environment. You will evolve in the Global Procurement Team (ingredients, flavour and phosphates) that manage a portfolio of 150M€.

Among the assigned tasks :
● You will support the main tasks around the management of the flavours and fruit category including tenders, negotiation, suppliers and projects management.
● You will actively participate to monitor projects for these ingredients in the group, working with your colleagues from other departments.
● You will interview, analyze and realize technical and financial studies for the building of the 5 years procurement strategy.
● You will collect market information and identify the main suppliers.
● You will assist on the negotiation with suppliers and the integration of the procurement ingredients categories, for the new companies acquired by the Lactalis company.

This is a 6 month long internship based in Laval, starting in 2025 !

Yours strengths

You hold a Master's student (M2) in Business or Engineering School (Agronomy).

You are fluent in both French and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.

You have a strong proficiency in Excel and possess excellent analytical abilities.

You are motivated, curious, and rigorous, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team !
