JOB DESCRIPTION

Role

You will work in the Market Intelligence team, and in the Marketing & Development department, a big multicultural team.

Our mission is to provide market information and insights to Offer & Product teams, to local Saint-Gobain businesses, by monitoring competitive watch, market analysis to anticipate trends and identify opportunities.

You will assist Market Intelligence senior manager within specific materials industry in researching and analyzing data, as well as building several analyses around our competitors and customers. Your work should help to understand the developments of our stakeholders in some specific areas and thus contribute to our strategic reflections.

Missions

You will work in the Market Intelligence team, with the Offer & Product management teams, as part of Saint-Gobain's Marketing & Development department.

Our mission is to provide market insights to Saint-Gobain with a focus on Building Glass industry by monitoring markets understanding to anticipate trends and identify opportunities.

You will assist the teams in researching and analyzing data, as well as delivering several analyses around our competitors and customers. Your work should help to understand the developments of our stakeholders in some specific areas and thus contribute to our strategic reflections.

Your mission will include (and is not limited to):

  • Ensure a steady flow of valuable news regarding our main markets:

o Select information and articles to be published on our market monitoring platform

o Build and share market newsletters

  • Help deploy and increase the visibility of this platform further within the Saint-Gobain Group: identification and development of new functionalities and improvements, facilitation of internal training of the platform users ….
  • Co-animate the Market Intelligence Community (publication, quarterly virtual coffees, internal presentations to various events)
  • Participate to internal strategic studies (search, synthetize information ….) to build, maintain and share a comprehensive view on construction markets and trends
  • Build strategic and business analyses of our stakeholders (competitors and customers)

6 months internship from January 2025 to June 2025

Description du profil

You are studying in a business school, engineering school or university abroad (BAC +5). And you have a previous professional experience preferably in market watch, market research, market intelligence, or supply-side marketing, marketing and marketing strategy consultancy.

You have a good knowledge of Excel and you can speak fluently in English.

You like searching for information and relevant data. You are good at structuring, analyzing and synthesizing information and extracting key insights from them. You can work autonomously but also be a real team player.

You are eager to learn! You are curious and motivated.

The knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
