Digital & IT Solutions Methods Manager Saint-Gobain

Role and responsibilities

Within Saint-Gobain Digital & IT Organization and reporting to the Digital Solutions Projects Methods & Portfolio Manager, your role embraces defining, analyzing, and optimizing the processes and methods used by the Digital Solutions teams in the delivery of their projects and products. The essence of the role is to support Digital Solutions teams in driving maximum efficiency and continuous improvement in delivering the roadmaps of projects, products, and services; and to drive value and deliver satisfaction to our internal business partners and customers. You will also be responsible for connecting business stakeholders to the processes of Digital Solutions teams.

To achieve this objective, you will oversee the following key activities:

I/ Drive implementation of the product transformational roadmap across key three pillars of the Product Ops Center:

1. People: Help and improve the product teams' expertise and organization's culture through training, education and coaching of teams and stakeholders
2. Processes & Tools: Continuous work on the Product Team System framework to equip teams with processes, artefacts, tools, and other knowledge to become effective and mature product practitioners.
3. Product & Projects: Support management of Digital Solutions products through working with the product teams in their discovery, design, and delivery optimizations.

II/ Support the management and continuous improvement of the Digital Solutions Portfolio, Processes and Methods to reduce time to market and costs

1. Consolidate & rationalize the existing processes and methods used by the different project teams in Digital Solutions.
2. Advise and coach the teams on best practices of managing projects and demands in the corporate portfolio and project management tools.
3. Coach the teams on implementing best applicable methodologies. Follow-through with teams on adopting minimum standard processes, tools and metrics in project/product/service delivery.
4. Run continuous feedback loops on these processes from all the stakeholders involved.
5. Create dashboards (where applicable) and report the findings to DS Project Methods & Portfolio Manager and DS Management Team.
6. Design training programs, performance management systems that will enhance our digital culture and drive us in the adoption of agile philosophy and methods.

III/ Contribute to governance and portfolio management processes of Digital Solutions:

1. Implement and follow-up on the agreed Customer satisfaction tracking models, liaise with the Business Partners, support teams in building relevant action plans to address customers' feedback.
2. Understand the compliance requirements of applicable governance frameworks and tools (ICRF, Cyber, Financial, Minerva, Concerto, etc) and advise the teams and DS Management team on the needed actions.
3. Support in building and improving on the internal and external communications approach.
4. Contribute to rolling out the ITSM processes and tools across Digital Solutions services and products.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

• Solid experience in projects and products management
• Experience in Digital (Digital Transformation, Applications, Software, UX/UI)
• Solid understanding of ITSM processes
• Strong communication skills, ability to articulate and promote new ways of working to different audiences.
• Continuous improvement, "Customer-first" and value driven mindset
• Strong analytical skills. Experience in data collection, processing and reporting.
• Experience with international teams is a plus.
• Business English writing and verbal communication skills.

Location

This position is based in Saint-Gobain Headquarters (La Défense, France). Occasional business trips are expected.
