An apprenticeship offer entitled ' *Apprentice HMI development for IT Core Services deployment (m/f)*' has just opened within Airbus Defence and Space on the Toulouse site. You will join the * department in charge of engineering, developping, integrating secured IT platforms that provides the infrastructures for Ground Segments for Earth Observation, Telecommunications and Military projects. * In particuliar, you will join a team of 12 people that create a *product line of IT Core Services* that contributes to these ground segments.
This apprenticeship has the following context: the department brings IT Core Services products. These products can be easily deployed thanks to Terraform (VM provisioner) and Ansible (platform configuration). But these two COTS need to be first configured with configuration files and different formats (json, ini, tf, yml). No user-friendly HMI exists yet, and that configuration should be done by someone knowing at least these technologies.
This apprenticeship will start in September/October 2025 and will last 1, 2 or 3 year(s). This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.
*Tasks and responsibilities: *
You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following main activities:
* Discover industrial development environment,
* Develop an user-friendly HMI allowing to abstract software configuration code complexity,
* Collect user needs,
* Test features, ensure need if well covered.
*Skills & Prerequisites: *
You will integrate a BAC+5 level training in the field of IT or equivalent for an apprenticeship of 1, 2 or 3 years.
You have the following knowledge and skills:
* Understand the IT CORE Services context, apprehend software technologies as Terraform and Ansible. Try to deploy IT Core Services,
* Identify what could be the inputs/outputs of the HMI [Input: values given by the users. Output: configurations files usable by Ansible and Terraform.] Collect needs, discuss with the team,
* Develop HMI in a chosen language. Propose a list of criteria between language/framework to detect the most efficient solution,
* Test the implemented solution, collect potential user feedbacks,
* Add new features.
Language skills:
* English: advanced
* French: advanced
Our selection process:

The manager will organize interviews with the shortlisted candidates before selecting the final candidate for the apprenticeship.
