Technical Support Engineer (H/F) Saint-Gobain

Due to the expansion and the increase footprint coverage of the Saint-Gobain's Insulation Stone Wool market share, the DTI Team (Technical Insulation Department) is looking for Stone Wool Melting Process Engineer based in Rantigny - (Hauts de France-60)

Travels abroad to plants is expected (up to 50% of working time)

Your key responsibilities will include :

1. Support the plants in term of melting process, specially :
   • Analysis of the process effectiveness and performance
   • Propose the improvement solutions
   • Assist /support / lead, the small local projects
   • Support in a troubleshooting and problem solving, per request
   • Propose and set the operational and technical standards
   • Provide the dedicated trainings to the local staff
2. Industrialization lead / support of the new processes & technical solutions
3. Provide the technical analysis, calculations, simulations related to the dedicated part of the process
4. Support to the strategic projects in the area of competence

Academic : Engineering schools. Master of Science.

Experience / technical competencies :

• Thermal / Mechanical / Fluid dynamics / Chemistry
• Previous experience with process & operational subjects in the industrial locations
• Industrial experience, in the heavy process industries: glass, chemistry, metallurgy, etc…
