Maitre - Awasi Atacama Relais & Châteaux

Awasi is a collection of three carbon-neutral all inclusive lodges that offer private programmes in some of Chile and Argentina's most iconic destinations: the Atacama Desert, Torres del Paine and Iguazu Falls.

We are proud to be one of the 580 members of Relais & Châteaux, an association of worldwide independent hotel and restaurant owners.

We are looking for a Maitre to join our team at Awasi Atacama.

You will be the privileged contact for your client and will be able to adapt to their requests, advise them and offer them a personalized and memorable service.
Involved in the daily operational management of the establishment, you will work in close collaboration with our Chef in charge of the Restaurant.

• The Maitre efficiently allocates and directs the work tasks of the outlets according to the directives received.
• He/she ensures that the customer is well looked after.
• He/she offers an attentive service adapted to the customer's needs.
• He/she adapts his/her organisation and staffing levels according to the activity.
• Participate in inventories of crockery, china, cutlery, furniture and audiovisual equipment and inform the purchasing manager of the need to renew stocks.
• He/she ensures that his/her teams are well presented.
• He/she organises and controls the work of his/her team.
• He/she ensures the cleanliness of his/her workplace and food safety.
• He/she is in permanent contact with all sectors of the hotel.

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Min. 2 years of experience working in similar positions at luxury hotels or restaurants, with international tourism.
• Experience at leading small, dymanic teams.
• Very detail oriented, always looking to go above & beyond and leading by example. Empathetic and highly responsible.
• Possibility to live in San Pedro de Atacama.
