The Department is in charge of the A6 qualification campaigns, including engine, APU and propulsive system tests (LLPM & ULPM), as well as of the Prometheus engine and THEMIS propulsive system test activities. Important MaiaSpace activities will complement the activities portfolio, with key contribution of the team in Vernon.
The departement is in charge of the coordination of the overall test engineering activities, steering and collecting the contributions from each subsystem and in close cooperation with the functional team to deliver test documentation (test plan, measurement plan, operations request, risk analysis, test synthesis, etc.). This coordination encompassed the classical phases of preparation, performance and exploitation of the different campaigns; it includes the typical elements such as test plan, test request, risk analysis contribution, anomaly treatment, etc.
Specific focus is given in the close interconnection between the system tests and the parallel PROMETHEUS engine development tests performed on several test sites; close and interactive working will be required in JTLE3 to ensure quick harmonization of information and mutual implementation of lessons learnt.
The responsible will be embedded in the LOX-Methane system test engineering team with the direct exchange and alignment on the different disciplines, from integration to bench, from engineering to project aspects.
He/she will interact with the different stakeholders involved in the campaign, working in the AG-teams of Vernon, Les Mureaux, Ottobrun and MaiaSpace. The multi-cultural interfaces in France and Germany will require good confidence in the English language.
