Recruiting Company:
A French fabless semiconductor manufacturer specialized in the design and marketing of highly integrated, mixed-signal semiconductor products for markets demanding wideband and low power analog-to-digital, digital-to-analog conversion.
An opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, international environment.

Role:
The engineering team is looking for a SoC Architect to define system and sub-system architectures for next-generation Mixed-Signal SoCs. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Product, Innovation, Engineering, and Industrialization - to develop optimized solutions that balance market needs, technical complexity, and cost efficiency while meeting time-to-market goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the Mixed-Signal SoC architecture and define system, software, hardware, performance, power, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer teams to define product specifications and select third-party IPs.
  • Develop SoC models for behavioral, functional, and performance optimization, including area and power trade-offs.
  • Work closely with RTL, DFT, Verification, Firmware, and Validation teams to ensure first-time-right silicon.
  • Manage traceability requirements and define custom IP micro-architectures and chip security strategy.

Requirements:
  • Education & Experience: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years in senior development or leadership roles in the semiconductor industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SoC architecture, including microprocessors, memory subsystems, on-chip interconnects, HW/SW partitioning, and mixed-signal silicon processes.
  • Interfaces & Security: Experience with high-speed/low-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, (LP)DDR) and SoC security.
  • Problem-Solving & Leadership: Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent documentation, presentation, and collaboration skills, with experience leading projects in fast-paced, multi-site environments.
