Are you motivated about providing *In Service Airframe solutions* towards our customers for an *Aircraft* after a bird strike or damaged by a hangar destroyed by earthquake?

**ABOUT US**
We are a team working on all In Service airframe engineering support aspects . We deal with a wide range of topics around *in Service queries* providing *standard* but also *custom in-service solutions* to our customers to enable *quick return to service*. We are an *international, dynamic and experienced team* working jointly with our other engineering centers located in Asia and the US providing fast and reliable service.
With us you will learn the end to end repair process, focusing on *Design , Stress, Authoring* as well as a chance to work on interesting projects along the way focusing always on customer and in-service operations.
Below you will find the different roles and expectations from an Airframe In service engineer.
Details & conditions may vary according to the role.
Suitable candidates will be selected to join individual teams based on their skills.
**YOUR FLIGHT PLAN**
* For Daily Repair Activities: *
- Analyze damage reports and provide repair instructions enabling quick return to service of the aircraft (passengers may be waiting on board)
- Approve the technical repair design solutions in accordance with AIRBUS methods and principles
- Support and approve technical solutions proposed by our extended team (subcontractors or other Airbus Engineering centres)
- Coordinate with all interfaces on a daily basis (internal or external Customer representatives, other physical aircraft components, other functions as needed ..)
- Analyze recurring cases and develop generic solutions to provide more autonomy to our internal/external customers
* For Major Repair Activities: *
- Analyze damage reports and provide repair instructions to aircraft in maintenance
- Approve the technical repair design solutions in accordance with AIRBUS methods and principles
- Provide engineering support & expertise to Airlines for damage assessment and repair embodiment
- Coordinate with all interfaces on a daily basis (internal or external Customer representatives, other physical aircraft components, other functions as needed ..)
- Develop design solutions by anticipation and optimize them according to the manufacturing end of production & spare consumption
* For Structure Repair Manual (SRM) activities: *
- Support and Approve the SRM design repair principles (new or updated ones)
- Coordinate activities between SRM team and the relevant involved departments (internal or external to Airbus) involving technical experts/senior management when needed
- Perform final validation of repair and allowable damage tasks before publication to our customers
- Propose and implement ideas to make sure the SRM is available 100% at Entry Into Service and with highest standards on quality
- Improve continuously the SRM product for the satisfaction of our customers
* For all above activities: *
- Contribute to team *efficiency* by proposing improvement and *sustainable* initiatives : digitalization, automation, innovation, repair by replace
- *Influence* new aircraft design by sharing your knowledge of in-service operations
**WORKING ENVIRONMENT SPECIFICATIONS :**
* Working time *
- Daily activities : Out of office hours support is required (shift and/or standby)
- Major activities : On-site Support requiring, traveling is required, standby is required
- SRM : N/A
* Aircraft programme & Component *
- Multli-programmes Fuselage or Propulsion/Nacelles
- A220 full Airframe
Some roles may involve worldwide travel for business and as such you must be able and willing to travel accordingly
**YOUR BOARDING PASS**
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and competences:
* You are educated to a 3 to 5 years degree level in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related disciplines
* You have a strong knowledge of overall aircraft design and primary structure principles and understanding of stress and airworthiness requirements
* You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in design of metallic and/or composite structures
* You have a good knowledge of design tools (CATIA V5...), knowledge of AIRBUS tools & manuals (GILDA, SRM, NTM...) is a plus
* You have a strong sense of responsibility and are willing to develop yourself to gain AIRBUS technical signature delegations
* You bring desirably first experiences in project management methods and agile
* You speak and write English and French with an advanced level
* Knowledge on Aircraft programmes & components mentioned above is a strong plus
* Knowledge of Customer Operations, Product Integrity / Liability and Maintenance Operations would be appreciated
